Rayaad

About

The word that comes back to you

Rayaad comes from را یاد — rā yād, “comes back to memory”. It is a vocabulary app for people who know which words they want to learn and would rather not be handed a curriculum.

One job

Bring each word back on the day you were about to forget it. Everything in the app exists to make that happen more often.

No favourite language

There is no list of supported languages and no default. You choose your pair, and no language is named anywhere in the product.

Small on purpose

One person builds Rayaad. That is why the answer to “can it also do…” is often no, and why what is there is meant to be finished.

Promises written into the code

Every app says it respects your data. These four are enforced by the product itself.

Learning stays free

Reviewing, sync, every device, the extension, Listen mode, stats, importing, export and account deletion are marked in the product as things that can never require a paid plan.

Nothing is added without you

No card, deck or suggestion is ever written into your account on its own. Anything AI drafts is shown to you first, and there is no setting that skips that.

Your words come with you

One file with every pair, deck, card and review you have, on any plan, whenever you want it — without asking anyone.

Deleting means deleting

You can end your account yourself. Your sign-in, your words and your whole review history go with it.

Why another vocabulary app

Because the two kinds that exist both work, and neither is what many learners want. Course apps decide what you learn — right when you are starting, wrong once you know what you need. Configurable review tools are powerful, and hand you a settings screen before your first card.

Rayaad sits between them: you bring the words, it brings the scheduling, and neither of you has to negotiate. Questions and ideas go to [email protected], and the support page says what to include.

Start remembering the words you learn

Free to start, on the web today. No card, no ads, and your words stay yours.
